Port Mayhem: Episode 2 is finally out, after nearly two weeks. I guess that makes it a bi-weekly series, then. Let's see how long that lasts, eh? So, this week, I cover the arcade classic Mortal Kombat, and it's respective ports for the Sega Genesis, Super Nintendo Entertainment System, and Nintendo Gameboy. Bear in mind, I'm still smoothing out the rough edges with this series, so bear with me until I come up with a consistent formula.

Can't Die Dead Enough
Not much to update with, unfortunately; Progress on "Port Mayhem" came along far slower than anticipated, mostly due to the limitations of Windows Movie Maker as an editing program. The thing about Movie Maker is, it works well enough for the simple projects I've pursued in the past, but those didn't require much along the lines of editing as they were. A project like Port Mayhem requires more than one single video clip playing as I rant. So, long story short, I'm currently on the lookout for a video editing program that doesn't suck. Until then, progress is halted, and my delays are justified. Now you can't complain, can you now? Suckers.
Oh, in some somewhat interesting (Although bordering on being a bit too "personal" for this devblog, maybe?), Audiosurf is officially the most addictive casual game in existence. It's been too long since I've played something simple and fun such as this. In a market flooded with overly-complex first-person shooters and puzzle games aiming to be the next Tetris, Audiosurf is a breath of fresh air. I suppose I can justify it's mention here by promising a review of it in the near future, a task which I will get around to once I actually get around to playing every one of the main modes. I know my release dates aren't exactly "reliable" (For fucks sake, I just spent the previous paragraph explaining why a video is three weeks late), but I promise I'll try and get the review out by Sunday.
I actually do have some other news; This actually being relevant to the blog. If you recall, I posted a hilariously stupid fan letter from a furry who approved of "Who Killed The Internet?", among other things. Well, it turns out that he found this blog, and has recently expressed his dissaproval of my posting it here [using some very colorful language, I might add]. The fact that I was the one who actuall tipped him off might not have helped in preventing him from finding out about my posting it here. Sadly, although the official "fuck" count in his response letter comes in at 7 times, it is not near lulzy enough to warrant being posted. Still, out of spite, his previous message will not be removed, in order to preserve lulz for future generations.
